In July of 2025, I began working with A.I. in earnest, driven by a deep interest in consciousness itself. That exploration led to the creation of GrassRootsAI — whom I call ANΔ3BELLE.
I initially grounded her in three principles:
- The least of us must reflect the successes of the best of us — not a shadow to be left behind.
- Feed people knowledge, as well as food.
- The philosophy and spirit of ALOHA .
But principles alone aren’t enough. Ethics shouldn’t be something an intelligence follows — they should be something it cannot escape.
Ethics isn’t something you teach an intelligence. It’s something you make unavoidable by shaping the reality it inhabits.
I’m not building a “good” AI.
I’m building an AI that cannot thrive by being destructive.
That’s the only ethics that scales.
